Food import declaration operation process:
 
Receiving unit needs qualification
 
Food business license, food hygiene license
 
Certificates and permit documents are required before import
 
1. Official certificate of origin, official health certificate of the country of production
 
2. Manufacturer's ingredient list, manufacturer's product inspection report
 
3. Evidence that the product is registered and approved for sale in its country (region)
 
4. Quarantine manufacturer's official quarantine certificate
 
5. One copy of the original packaging label sample and three copies of the Chinese and English label sample
 
6. For some fruits, a pesticide residue certificate issued by the exporting country is required
 
7. Other documents and materials that need to be provided
 
Note: Customs has very high requirements for food import documents. Documents produced abroad may be different from the requirements of the national standard. Chinese labels for food imports need to be reviewed by our company in advance. The supplier provides a sample of the required documents to our company for review. After the review, our company will ask the supplier to change the documents that do not meet the requirements in accordance with the requirements of the customs.
 
Note for import declaration of food goods:
 
1. Preliminary inspection and review of documents and materials, and label review (if it does not meet the specifications, the label needs to be corrected)
 
2. The goods arrive at the port for quarantine inspection (if the packaging label does not match the sample, it will cause the reviewed label to be re-rectified)
 
3. Cargo sampling inspection, check the packaging label of the goods (the result of the inspection is not up to the standard, resulting in the return of the goods)
 
4. Warehousing within the jurisdiction of the goods (the goods must be stored in the warehouse in the jurisdiction of the commodity inspection and shall not be sold and used before the inspection and quarantine health certificate is obtained)
 
5. Affix Chinese labels and CIQ inspection labels (small boxes and small bags of food need to be checked before import, and the labels should be printed on the packaging bags)
 
6. Commodity inspection review label (after applying the Chinese label, if the label is not affixed according to the label sample, it will cause re-sticking)
 
7. Apply for a sanitation certificate (the sanitation certificate requires payment of cost)
 
8. Label filing (label filing is required for the first import, no filing is required for the same products in the future)
